THE STORY
THE 1987 PROJECT is a time-travel narrative governed by the rule of the closed causal loop: the timeline cannot be bent by human intent, and the attempt to change the past is often the very thing that writes the future.
Rohith travels from 2045 back to 1987 with his partner Eldho to investigate the disappearance of a brilliant physics professor, Dr. Ravi — a man who vanishes inside a strict fourteen-day window after handling a palm-sized Chrono Device.
When the professor tweaks the prototype's frequency, an icy-blue spatial tear opens and swallows him whole.
The series closes on a single devastating realisation: bringing the device back to 1987 was never the solution. It was the cause.
